Since 2009, Biggest Japanese Fusion Restaurant in Montrose
I ordered take out from Sake through Yelp and I must say it was the best first experience. It arrived earlier than the estimate time and it was so neatly packaged. They put extra chopsticks and soy sauce and really read the small notes I had made especially regarding the hand rolls (easy rice). I ordered miso soup, Spicy tuna hand roll and albacore hand rolls (both with soy paper and easy rice), popcorn lobster, green goblin roll and Hogwarts roll.
Everything was delicious and very fresh. Can’t wait to try them again.

Oh sushi. You always sound good. You always, for the most part, taste good. You always know I’ll be back for more. What makes this place move up on my sushi radar is the service. We showed up, a little tipsy, took up all their bar space, and continued an already good night.
The chefs behind the bar were great. Had them give us the specials. Looked one guy right in the eye and asked what should we really get. He smiled. The yellowtail. Super fresh and great consistency. Atomic albacore roll. Spicy albacore wrapped in seared albacore with fried garlic giblets on top. Yum. Hogwarts roll. Spicy tuna wrapped in tuna with seared tuna on top. Not enough? How about top that with more crispy onions than two people need. Yum.
Service was impeccable. Our party was well taken care of. Couple bottles of complimentary sake graced our presence. Round of sake bombs at 4 bucks a piece started the evening. We even took a picture with one of the chefs on the stairs at the end of the night. Good times.
All I know is we left ending a good night great. Like I said, you’re on our radar. We’ll be back. Great sushi, great staff. Thanks Sake!

This is by far the best sushi I have ever had. I lived in Japan for 4 years, and this is hands down the most authentic, delicious, and fun place to take a date!
I definitely recommend the Dorothy rainbow roll, dragon roll, and atomic albacore roll- you will be blown away.

Sushi here is very good and it’s in heart of Montrose shopping area which is great if you enjoy taking walks before or after dining. There is parking in the back which is free and also metered parking on honolulu. The service can’t get a bit slow but that is the only downfall at this spot. It tends to get really busy on weekends but it’s worth it!

This is probably one of my favorite sushi spots to go to. I haven’t been to a different sushi spot after trying Sake Sushi Bar. The sushi is amazing and totally melts in your mouth. I always get the green goblin roll and a spicy scallop hand roll. Both are amazing, and both are a must! I also love the Cadens roll, Hogwartz Special, the Montrose roll, and the popcorn lobster. The servers are also on top of their game and always keep me happy.

One of my favorite sushi spots! The fish is always fresh, the wait is never crazy (nonexistent at the times I’ve been there), the service is great, and the prices are reasonable.
My favorite rolls include the Honolulu Ave roll, lobster mania roll, volcano roll, and slot machine roll. I love how generous they are with their fish as well-the BSCR roll had an abundance of scallops and the spicy tuna hand rolls were overflowing with fish.
If you don’t frequently come to Old Town Montrose, the parking situation may seem intimidating and packed, but keep looking, there is always parking available there. There is a public lot directly behind the restaurant, but if you cannot find parking there, there is also street parking directly on Honolulu Ave or the streets surrounding the restaurant.

Been to this place before on a date and I liked it then so this is my 2nd visit.
The kids and I were starving and one of us was dying for sushi, so she recommended coming here. Plenty of free parking lots in Montrose. There are also plenty of metered parking.
Got seated right away in a booth. Plenty of booths to choose from. You can also sit at a table in the middle of the room if you choose. Love how they have white booths and the walls were red. Really stands out. It was 1820 and not busy so we got plenty of attention. Soon as we decided, we placed our order and we got our food within ten minutes!!
Since I can’t stand raw fish, I ordered the California roll. Delish. Plenty to share. They ordered raw whatever, looked nice and they seemed to love it. Again, plenty to share.
Will definitely be back!!
